About Us

Joseph Harris is the principal owner of MDI construction Group, Inc. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry, Mr. Harris cultivated from a family that has produced successful real estate and construction industry professionals for over 50 years. Mr. Harris and MDI construction, Inc. has specialized and found great success in the building, renovating and the rehabilitation of a number of communities in the Metropolitan Atlanta area.

Throughout the years, under the leadership of Joseph Harris, MDI construction, Inc. has engaged in many successful partnerships ventures across the country. During the early 1990s, Mr. Harris was a major sub-contractor and construction liaison in the redevelopment of Chinatown in San Francisco. Additionally, Mr. Harris was the lead contractor in the construction of the lofts in downtown Oakland community.

Since 1994, MDI Construction, Inc. has performed many general contracting functions in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. MDI Construction, Inc. has provided major subcontract work at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. This project included major interior build outs and demolition work of several restaurants and other establishments in the airport. MDI Construction, Inc. was also a major subcontractor for Graham Construction Company in the renovation of the Best Western Hotels.

MDI Construction, Inc. also took part in major renovation with a major hotel chain in Atlanta by constructing all flooring and complete the building interiors. MDI Construction, Inc. experiences include, but are not limited to concrete forming and pouring as well as building and demolition.

MDI Construction, Inc. holds many certification and accomplishments in the construction industry. This includes utility contract, soil and erosion control, lead paint and asbestos abatement and OSHA30.
